Monkey Prince – Judah
About to turn 3 next month this little man has developed so much over the last year. Having mastered potty training and learning to be less boisterous around his baby sister, we have seen him grow into a sensitive thoughtful little boy.
He is a delight, time outs have become so few and far between I can’t remember the last time he needed one, he gets up to mischief as all children do, but the second you challenge his behaviour he stops. I couldn’t ask for any more.
He makes us smile constantly, very much like me in his love for music, singing and dancing. Attacks my piano, mimicks the vocal warm ups I teach when my pupils arrive at the door. He learns the routines to all the songs they sing in Kids church. I know that this is mainly about his surroundings at the moment, music and dance is all he sees, and I try to encourage him to do more boisterous activities too.
He loves his sisters so much, he misses his older sisters terribly when they’re not at our home. He refers to Eden as his best friend and reminds me that Daddy is my best friend whenever he suspects even a hint of a raised voice. There can be no arguing around this little man, he diffuses tense situations.
I am just loving the stage that he is at and what a beautiful character he is developing. He often will thank me for making him a delicious dinner, or for having such a nice day completely unprovoked. He blows me away often.
We are so proud of him and everything he is, and who he is becoming. He starts nursery in September and as much as I will miss him terribly, I can’t wait to see how he grows and stretches in his new environment.
We love you Judah
